V I D E O S • Five Series

SERIES ONEThe Body's Search for Spirit (4 tapes)

A set of four videotapes excerpted from six-day
seminars by Edwin McMahon, Ph.D.
and Peter Campbell, Ph.D.

The basic theory and practice of Focusing is presented in a simple experiencing way which encourages us to be open to and tap the story that is always waiting to be told in the body. Biospirituality helps us to transcend differing religious backgrounds and interpretations because the one experience we share in common is the human body itself, struggling to grow into greater wholeness.

SERIES TWOBioSpiritual Focusing: A New Paradigm

(3 tapes)

Building a Spirituality Grounded in the Body's Knowing On 3 Videotapes.

Dr. McMahon begins this series with practical suggestions about how to develop the habit of felt sensing. Finding a spirituality intrinsic to the human growth process is the challenge of our time. Within the felt sense one finds unexpected possibilities which can surprise and carry us beyond divisive interpretations in culture and religion.

SERIES THREE • The Road Ahead: Exploring the Habit of "Felt Sensing"

(4 tapes)

Third International BioSpiritual Conference in Burlingame, California

Four videotapes with five large group presentations on "The Road Ahead--Exploring the Habit of Felt Sensing." These videos present five personal perspectives of how the habit of focusing on felt-senses has enriched the lives of Drs. Campbell and McMahon, a mother and her grown children, a man struggling with chronic physical pain, and two facilitators working in Mexico City using body work to help people grow beyond process-skipping habits.

Experience how faith, evolution, and the uniqueness of becoming connected to the stories held within each of us all flow together within the habit of felt sensing.

SERIES FOUR • Balancing Bodybrain and Headbrain

(5 tapes)

This Conference -Balancing Bodybrain & Headbrain, was delivered at Genesis Spiritual Life Center on the 20th Anniversary of the Institute's founding.

This series proposes that a critical next step in the information age is learning to balance "head knowing" and the "felt sensing" wisdom available to us in some "Larger Body." This is done by "owning" the felt senses we carry in our bodies especially those we can learn to notice that are trying to get our attention as we are inundated with more and more information. Nurturing this dimension of human intelligence through BioSpiritual Focusing builds a connection in us that is essential for peace, wholeness, and community.

SERIES FIVE Experiencing the Gift

(3 tapes)

Second International BioSpiritual Conference at Angel Fire Keynote Addresses by Drs. McMahon & Campbell

BioSpiritual Focusing identifies and nurtures the experiential common ground for a global spirituality. These videos give the viewer a body-feel for the exciting mission and charism of this international movement. The videos explore the very meaning and experience of "spirit" as it relates to the human body and suggests that spirit is a developmental human experience, and there is a body dimension to spirit.
